What is rheum officinale?
Rheum officinale is the name of traditional Chinese medicine. This product is the rhizome of Rheum palmatum, Rheum tanguticum or Rhubarb. From September to October, selecting the plants that have grown for more than 3 years, digging out the rhizome, cutting off the stem and root slice to dry. Rheum officinale’s main functions are: purging heat toxin, breaking accumulation stagnation and promoting blood stasis.
